You were... probably not doing the best of jobs hiding how sore your ankle was. But, you had refused to be carried, so for the sake of your ego you hobbled on, a not insignificant portion of your weight leaning on Moon as you two slowly but surely make your way through the winding back halls of the haunted house.

Moon is utterly silent, though you can feel the heavy weight of his unyielding stare as he no doubt searches for any trace of pain on your face. You're doing your best not to let him see any, but... it isn't exactly easy. The trek to the break room for ice is made twice as long by the slow pace Moon sets. He refuses to go any faster, not even acknowledging you when you try and hurry him up.

It's probably for the best. As much as you don't want to admit it, the sprain feels pretty bad.

You just hope Moon isn't feeling too guilty.

It wasn't his fault. But good luck trying to convince him that.

You hadn't been in your usual spot for his scene, the one where he grabs you and drags you out of the room. You couldn't have been. Not with how he knocked into you instead of grabbing you. Neither of the two animatronics had ever been off point like this before. You do not blame him.

It was an accident. One you've already forgiven, as you'd assured him many times over by now.

When you finally make it to the break room, you wave Moon away from helping you sit down and instead ask him to grab some ice from the fridge. He doesn't have to move much, the room is small, barely enough go contain his massive form. His long limbs make quick work of grabbing the ice and a ziploc to put it in with stilted, understated movements. Nothing at all like the Moon you know.

He hands you the bag, still as silent as he has been since he whispered a barely audible apology, and turns to leave.

"Hey, wait!" You say, dropping the ice in the process of reaching out for him. Moon jolts, his head nearly hitting the ceiling as he turns around to stare at you. You continue, "don't- don't go."

He doesn't move. The quiet hum of the fridge the only sound in the room. Your ankle aches.

You refuse to whither under his blank, smiling stare. After far too long, he finally responds. "...why?" He sounds genuinely confused, like he cannot possibly fathom you actually wanting him in the room.

"Because you're-" you hesitate for just a moment, easily written off as a stutter, "because you're my friend, Moon. Why would I want you to leave?" For as much as 'friend' feels woefully inaccurate, it's what you say.

He looks away from you at that, his faceplate shifting down towards the ground as he considers your words. Just when you're about to say something, he sags down into a low crouch. Making himself smaller in a room not built for his height.

"I hurt you," he says, like that was all the convincing you would need to realize your mistake and change your mind. You ignore the dull throbbing ache. The ice starts to melt on the break room floor.

"Moon, did you mean to hurt me?" You ask bluntly and get a nearly franktic shake of the head in return. "Then it was an accident. I'm not mad, my ankle will heal. It's ok."

He doesn't seem to believe you, remaining hunched over on the opposite side of the room from you. You sigh, glancing down at the ice you dropped. "Would you mind picking that up for me?" You ask, sounding more tired than you mean to.

It takes a minute, but slowly, hesitantly, Moon creeps towards you. You watch with a small smile that grows when he gingerly hands you the bag. You let your hand linger on his claws as you take it, offering soft 'thank you' as you do. His long arm snakes back away from you, but he seems a little less tense as you finally get the ice on your ankle.

Steven Q. Universe is not 145 lbs in Future and I will gladly die on this hill

Aight. I'm tired of the SU fan wiki spreading this too. Here we go. Here are a few reasons why the listing of his weight (and quite honestly, height too) on the wiki are nonsense and need to stop being spread around as fact.

Reason one: Steven's body proportions were completely in flux that entire episode anyways, and there's a good possibility even Priyanka's final "measurements" are inaccurate to his baseline.

Think about it.

We already see evidence of his height fluctuation in the hospital scene as it is.

Connie's mother writes down a measurement...

Notices him sprout just a little taller...

And quickly corrects her measurements.

Not to mention, we've seen evidence of his weight fluctuating just an episode before.

In Together Forever, while ruminating on the thought of Connie moving so far away for college, he turns pink and then sinks really hard into his mattress, as if he actively became heavier while he thought about these literally heavy thoughts.

If his height was fluctuating during the exam, it only makes sense that his weight was, too.

Reason 2: Priyanka has a specific way she writes the number 4

The awkward number correction on the height makes sense. It's hard to tell if what she wrote at first was 5'1" or 5'6" but whatever it was, it seems she ultimately decided to change it to 5'5".

The weight entry is... corrected as well, but in a somewhat nebulous way.

People keep thinking that this entry was corrected to "145," but here's the thing- she doesn't write 4s like that.

She doesn't close her 4s.

I'm more drawn to believe she was correcting a number into a 9 by closing it, but to be fair, I will admit that her her normal, uncorrected 9s aren't as pointy and angular. It's not a 4, though. It doesn't make sense for it to be a 4. Why would you correct a number into a 4 in a different way than you normally write it? Closing a number into a wonky 9 is one thing, 9s have to be closed. But writing an open 4 and then correcting another one by closing it is just... gah. It doesn't make sense to me.

BUT. Here's the thing. Here's why- at the day- Steven's true weight is DEFINITELY not 145.

Reason 3: That is literally not how bodies work.

Folks, please remember that Steven is fat. He is consistently drawn with thick limbs and a tummy, EVEN in Steven Universe Future.

And as someone who has spanned the whole gamut between 195 and 145 lbs at various points of my life... let me tell you from personal experience that Steven absolutely does NOT have a 145 lbs sort of frame.

And like, I'm not gonna pin my money on 195 lbs exactly because of reason number one- Steven being in a complete state of proportional flux that episode anyways- but it's definitely a measurement that is FAR more in the realm of realism than 145.

Once again, in sum:

Steven is not 145 lbs and the measurements taken in this ep need to all be taken with an intense grain of salt anyways because he was literally shrinking and growing all over the map, thank you

A small plant-like organism that was  first encountered at the very entrance of the Ruined Catacombs. It closely resembles USP-01 besides a white, smiling face where the yellow disk florets would be on the normal flower. It is currently unknown what purpose this mimicry serves. Very intelligent, but clearly malicious. Avoid it if possible. 

Effective study of this USO-01 proves difficult, as besides my initial encounter with the creature I have not been able to observe it outside of a passing glance. It has the surprising ability to communicate in English (vocal mimicry can be ruled out as the creature would actively respond to me), but does not seem especially open to interrogation, as it was only ever friendly to me for the purposes of murderous deception.

well a big part of my attraction to his looks is how big, fat, tall, and strong he is. while not far above average height, he looks so much bigger than others around it combined with his weight + huge proportions, and his height brings it all together perfectly

so all these important components combined make him massive and intimidating and all encompassing. the way he could loom over me when he gets me on my hands and knees agsifbskgsbg 😍💘 it all makes him so sexy

all my respect to short kings generally but compared to what he is now to have a comparison, I'd be lying if some of the appeal didn't go. I feel a variety of attraction but when I'm attracted to big tall bear man I prefer them to stay that way lol

Personality

Revi is a generally relaxed and friendly person that adapts to almost anything life throws at her. She enjoys new experiences, meeting new people of all kinds, and wants to understand them and the world around her as it really is.

Although she doesn’t understand herself that well - not yet, at least - she stays true to who she is. It would be a challenge for her to change her habits and how she acts around others. It has caused many problems in the past, so she is still trying to accept it isn’t always a bad thing.

For a long time, she was withdrawn and hesitant to share her emotions and how she feels. Now that she has had some practice opening up, it isn’t as difficult to do so now. It is easier for her to relate to others as well.

Despite often having difficulty with details and occasionally struggling to follow instructions, she is an oddly intuitive person. It can be difficult for her to put words to things she does know or understand, but that is also improving.

Even then, Revi still considers herself incompetent at many things others around her can do. She struggles with low self-esteem and an inferiority complex as a result. (It was especially pronounced around her older sister.)

how many of balloons limbs would you need to cut off for him to fly !! except it's not the most accurate because i suck at math

so i got bored a couple days ago and was curious about how many of balloon's limbs i'd need to cut off for him to float like an actual helium balloon ( considering im.. pretty sure that's what specific hot air he's full of! )

so anyway i found whatever the first scale i could think of was, no matter how absurd-- i chose the thinkers next to the half mile high pie in s3 ep 7 , putting balloon at likely a little less than 76 meters tall! well probably not actually but using these absurd numbers for personal humor

anyway! this'll be important later, but in real life, the biggest kind of helium balloon i can think of is a weather balloon, which from what i just now googled 5 seconds ago is about 2 meters ( but can get up to 10 ) and holds a nice 15 cubic meters of helium when rounded up

since we're using s3 characters for this, i'm looking at his s3 scenes and eyeballing it to say his legs are about 1/5 of his height?? by removing the legs and balloon neck ( don't worry we'll add em back later ) the actual balloon is 60.8 meters tall or, 60.8 meters in diameter. math stuff! but, we gotta figure out his VOLUME.. which i already did it's roughly 65 cubic meters. neat! yes i know i probably did the math PRETTY wrong in my defense i suck very badly at math and i barely have any information and rounded up because im lazy

so. how much weight does it take to hold down 65 cubic meters of helium! well, pretty straightforward, about 1kg

but how much do his individual limbs weigh?? well, in total they've gotta weigh at least 65 kg because. Well, yeah -- using the average weight of actual human limbs and then just multiplying it and subtracting a bit until it works to account for the fact i chose the most absurd possible size scale we get...!

congratulations balloon, your legs weigh at least 24 kg each and your arms weigh 15 kg each. did a bit more than needed since he isn't just like. BARELY on the ground . this makes the total weight of his limbs 78 kg! so, we'd need to at minimum just remove a leg and be set, or remove both arms so he can join BOTH of his best friends in the armless club ( well, even if the legs are kind of useless if he's stuck floating )

don't worry, in both situations the lost limbs go to someone in need

but wait, ivy, when mephonex killed him in the finale he had NO limbs and was NOT floating! what's up with that?? welllll..

i'm pretty sure what happened there was that he WOULDVE been floating but his neck was under silver spoon?? that's what it looks like to me, at least!

so. yeah. useless and possibly inaccurate information, but removing one leg or both arms would cause balloon to fly ^_^

A late December transition journal, and spreadsheet update!

The spreadsheet is (finally) updated with December measurements:

So I’m writing this in January, but… most of the thoughts on here are about December progress, and the measurements were taken in December. 

It’s a weird mixed bag as far as transition is concerned. The measurements seem to be somewhat stalled. The only thing that seems to have changed is height, which like… it feels like it has to be error, and I’m pretty sure it is, but its been consistent? Maybe spinal curvature can change that fast? I’ll highlight on the spreadsheet the next time I actually get it measured at the doctor’s. Weight has fluctuated, and I did have a panic about it- however, it is possible that last measurement was a bit of an error. I could still physically see a rapid, unexpected drop in weight on my body, which I’ve since controlled, so I don’t think it’s that inaccurate, but yeah.

That all said… I’m being reminded constantly that the measurements don’t tell the full story.

For example, I think there’s a lot that’s missed by measuring at specific lines around the body. Waist and underbust are measured at minima, whereas bust and hips are measured at maxima. While these haven’t changed much during this time period, I have noticed overall growth in areas that aren’t these spots. Most notably… I have the tiniest inkling of an ass now!!!!! I’ve been flat as a board my whole life, and this time, in side profile, I noticed some booty curves and growth! But that measurement is overshadowed by my thighs and more traditional hip measurements, which have always been pretty good even pre-HRT. 

My boobs grew a tiny bit, but seem overall more noticeable than that. I think a lot of the initial growth was determined by nipple protrusion, and while they def still have that “growth” type character where they stick out much further than the rest of everything, the overall shape of the boob is looking like… well, boobs. Even though the measurement hasn’t changed, the timeline pictures (which I’m keeping private, for now) do show that they’re getting more visually defined, which is amazing. I also had a lot of little euphorias when I went home for the holidays. A lot of friends and even family that I hadn’t seen since early HRT or pre-HRT made comments about how I looked younger, looked different, or seemed to have nice skin. I’m considering that a win. Anecdotally, I do think that my face has femmed up a bit. If there was ever a month with the most face changes so far, it was absolutely December.

It is still true, however, that a lot of my body changes seem stalled. Maybe blame the swingy weight, or maybe blame the fact that my E is still…. Considered acceptable, but realistically, the 100-200 “acceptable” range is very low. My provider says that this is partially because of the 8mg limit on sublingual E, due to liver problems- 200 is pretty much what you can realistically get on sublingual alone. But guess what- I’ll be switching to injections soon! My provider wanted me to get E levels high to prevent super swingy emotions by drastically increasing my E levels, but said that with my current labs, I should be ready. I’m super happy about it, and hopefully I should regain some of the speed I had early HRT. I need my bazongas, okay?

I’m gonna be a bit emotionally weird, several things happening in my life rn. But on the plus side…. I have my first laser session tomorrow! I made the appointment earlier this week and decided to commit to keeping it despite things going on. I think it’ll be really helpful for my mental health, and very much improve how I feel when I look in the mirror. The only issue I can foresee is whether my boymode will hold, which, uuuhhh…. I mean fuckit my transition is an open secret at this point. People have seen the changes, seen me at parties, the queer community of my uni knows, they’ve seen and felt bra straps during hugs… I think everyone just kinda accepts that I’m waiting for the most comfortable moment. Then again, cis people can be oblivious, so maybe I’m overinterpreting. We will see. I don’t think much will change until I change my voice.

Barok Van Zieks.

He drinks wine in court. We all know this, but take a look at how MUCH he drinks.

Seven. Seven drinks. And possibly even more if he has a second or third trial.

Now, we have the question of how much wine would get him drunk. Zieks is 6’ 4”, the average weight of a man that height is 202 pounds (between 182-222 is the range).

Then we have to look at how much wine he’s drinking. His glass fits well in his hand. Compared to what a normal wine glass looks like, his wine glass is bigger.

He most likely had custom made wine glasses so they would fit in his hand. Usually, taller people have bigger hands. This means that his wine glass must fit more wine in it than the average glass.

One of the final things to look at is how much wine would a man his height and weight would need to be drunk. The heavier you are, the slower you get drunk. Since I’m using an average for his weight, this theory may be slightly inaccurate.

It takes six glasses of wine for a man of his stature to get drunk. This is with normal wine glasses.

Since his wine glass is bigger, it fits more liquid, so he drinks more wine. This cuts down the amount of drinks he has to have to become drunk to about 4. He has to have about 4 glasses of wine before he starts getting drunk. He drinks up to SEVEN GLASSES A TRIAL.

Conclusion: Barok Van Zieks gets completely sloshed during trials and probably sent a lot of innocent people to jail with the death penalty.

Someone please put this man on trial for reckless endangerment.

First up!

Is Asheera a good dancer? I have cited clear sources proving that she clearly has two left feet (the masquerade fic) and could not dance to save her life . However my older and younger siblings disagree stating that she has "waist for days" and is a quick learner enough so that she can rival Wyll. My youngest sibling has taken a particular liking to doodling Asheera dancing to 'Water' by Tyla. I find it inaccurate and amusing.

Second of all!!

My older sibling thinks Asheera is taller than Karlach??? I've been reading through the Asheera Archives (fics and tags) but I just don't believe it. Karlach is like 8 ft and Asheera is pushing 6ft maybe. I always imagined the height difference came from Shart being so short like 5"2. We have pulled out many different tools for measuring (we never have a tape measure on hand) to try and prove or disprove this. This argument gets the most heated.

Third of all

I think she's ripped to shreds 18 pac for days while everyone else vehemently disagrees with me. I don't know why, I think it's obvious why she does but they're against it.

Fourth!

We all agree on this so it's being sent for confirmation. We think she uses puppy dog eyes against Shadowheart when she wants to get her way. We have different opinions on WHEN this started but we all agree that she knows how to use her sweet brown marble eyes.

Obviously Asheera is good at maths since she's a mechanic/builder and that's nesscary but we're all differing on opinions on weather she's good at reading? Like she can comprehend but one of us think Asheera is the type to read words but never hear them pronounced so she says them weirdly in conversation. But others think she eats books to consume knowledge which is SLANDER. It is clear!!!! That Ash is an intelligent well rounded half orc with many skills 👏 which 👏 include 👏 reading 👏

Holy shit lol. I love this. I'll tackle all of this in order.

She is a quick learner, but she's a bad dancer. In the masquerade fic she's trying her damnedest and probably couldn't repeat her performance.

Karlach is about 7' tall in my mind, and Asheera is 6'7" (I noted her height/weight here) so no, she is not taller than Karlach. She's big though, and Karlach calls her "big girl" in the fics sometimes because they kinda have the same general physique. Another curse of Larian not having a lot of body types. She is definitely massive compared to Shadowheart, though. Size difference goes brrrrrr.

She softens a lot in the post-canon fics, so it might be the case that that's what they're thinking of! However, she has usable muscle more like someone who performs a lot of manual labor rather than gym muscles. Imagine someone like Rhianon Lovelace, Andrea Thompson, Anna Harjapää, or Christina Bangma but with a skosh more body fat. Not "cut" or "shredded" but strong as fuck.

Correct. I'll not spoil the "whens" since that can be fic fodder.

Her Intelligence is 10. Perfectly reasonable, normal. She's good at some stuff, bad at others. She is definitely a "I've read this word but never heard it" type person. She likes really awful poetry, like colossally bad stuff. Here's a possible curveball: her Dexterity is 8. Enjoy the new arguments about what that means.

“It’s rare for you to ask to meet me so soon after last time.” A woman commented as a man with beard approached her, sitting in the corner of a coffee shop in the middle of the day. The man gave her a quick chuckle before taking another seat in front of the woman.

“What can I say, Kate, I had something you might find interesting,” the man finally replied. He put a brown file on the table, knocking it with his finger a few times to get Kate Laswell’s attention.

It proved successful as Laswell’s eyes almost locked to the file. Judged by the thickness of it, seems like it contained someone’s profile in there and pretty average—not so thin, not so thick. “Another addition to the Task Force, John?” she guessed.

“Straight to point... I thought American loves small talk,” he joked.

“You make it clear you want something. Why bother wasting our time?”

He nodded his head as he agreed. He pushed the file toward her confidently. “Yeah, I’d like to add another one,” he requested.

“Huh? Seems like you forgot one,” she teased him.

He let a small chuckle out, “No, not really. I just came across her and though she probably could be a good additional to the team.”

“And for you get her file by yourself, she must be very good,” she assumed while she took the file and Price just gave her a suspicious grin.

“You know me, Kate. I won't recruit just anyone,” he replied, sipping his just-arrived tea.

“What’s so special about her, anyway? You should understand that I can’t just add another personnel to the team just because you asked for it,” she argued. Her eyebrows furrowed, being skeptical even Price might have a good reason to make such request.

“Just read the file first, I’ll explain after,” he suggested, crossed both his hand and leaned his back against the chair. “I wouldn't waste both of our time if it wasn't worth it.”

“Fine.”

She took the file and started with the name on the cover.

“Sergeant Athea “Bambi” Diggory,” she read it out loud.

There was also a photo of a young woman with long wavy black hair and ocean blue eyes. Quite unfamiliar, she thought.

“She looks young,” she commented. “And she does look like a fawn,” she added another commented, pointing to her face feature and her callsign.

Then, she proceed to read the first page. Mainly because Price didn’t give any comment as he kept silence and let her continue with the file on her hands. As she read the first 2 pages, nothing really stands out except she was a capable soldier.

Full name, Athea Veronica Diggory aka Bambi. Born in 1998 and living in London. Height of 170 cm and weight of about 58 kg. Speaks three languages including English, Spanish and French.

She joined the British Army at the age of 18 before joining the Special Air Service two years later. Promoted to Sergeant last year for her outstanding performance in hunting terrorists and insurgents across Europe and the Middle East. Experienced in primary target elimination, tracking and reconnaissance, covert surveillance, close quarter combat, sniper techniques and demolitions.

Impressive but all seems normal to Laswell. At least, until she got to the interested part.

On the third page, there was a long list of Bambi’s deployment and all the missions she has carried out. But almost half of it was blacked out. So on the next pages, which contained reports of her missions, almost all of them were covered in black marker.

The other thing was the time when these secret missions were carried out. It could be seen that secret missions were carried out after several or between 2 official missions. And the time between the date of the previous mission and the mission after is relatively short. So it just means that these secret missions were carried out quickly.

Laswell thought it was weird because nothing out of ordinary from Bambi’s profile. She understood that she was a well-performed soldier, but to have a lot of confidential reports like this was unusual.

“What is it, John?” she finally asked.

Price sniffed. “That’s what make her special. Kate. Twenty-one years old, only four years of serving both in the Army and SAS but already got long list of missions and half of it was secret missions. Long list? Fine. Young blood got a lot of energy. But secret missions?”

“If it was Ghost’s, I probably could understand…” she almost lost of words at this point. Either she was amazed or worried about Bambi. “And you want her to be in your team?”

He nodded his head. “I had no problem with those secret missions. For me, those are nothing more than proves that she’s more than capable to be in the team.”

“What are these secret missions? Do you have any idea?” she asked.

This time, Price shook his head. “Nope. Not a single one. This is the most detail I could get. All I know, those missions weren’t on official record.”

“And what about others’ opinion about it?”

“They won’t know. The file they’ll get is the edited version. It will exclude all the confidential information. Just the official records,” he grinned, followed with his old man chuckles that makes Kate raised one of her eyebrows.

“How you got this then?” she confused.

“I got my sources. Don’t worry about it,” he reassured.

“Have you ever worked with her?” she once again questioned him, flipping pages of the files with her fingers.

“Only once but even then it wasn't under my command.” He took another sip of his tea.

“And you think she can work well with you?” she doubted him.

“Worth the shot,” he smiled confidently. Laswell wasn’t sure, of course.

“That’s not enough, John. You need a better reason,” she objected. Of course it wasn't enough.

No matter how much Laswell wanted to fulfill Price's request, she still needed a compelling reason to add additional personnel at this time, when they were about to start a new mission soon. But on the other side, Price was so eager to add this particular person with unknown reason for Laswell.

“I know. But you’d love her,” he tried.

With that, Laswell wasn’t convinced yet. She still had some things to consider even after reading some of the reports—that she could read—a few times. Too many secret will never be a good thing. But she couldn’t denied that she was intrigue.

“Fine. But we've already had a plan and you know that. We'll all be leaving for Verdansk in a few days. So I can't possibly include anyone new in the plan. For now, she could only be sent as assistance if the situation turned out of control. That's the best thing I can do,” she finally decided that made Price breathe with ease. He also smiled and Laswell found it annoying.

“I appreciate it, Kate. I’ll introduce her to you in person if it necessary.” Price stood up from his chair, ready to leave as the purpose of his coming here has been conveyed.

“No need. Since this was a last minute request, I’ll meet her after it's all done. I’ll give you an update if there’s any. Just make sure everyone is ready.”

“See you in few days, Kate.”

Autistic April Day 15: Misdiagnosis

I believe that I might have received one misdiagnoses in my life and that was for an intellectual disability when I was around five years old.

One thing that is common with Autistic children is a delay in speech development and I was behind the average child my age in my speech. I remember watching a video of my fourth birthday party and I didn't talk. My family said I was very quiet when I was younger. The other day I was looking at my baby medical book and it mentioned a few times in there that I was behind in my speech development.

The doctors decided to give me an IQ test and the results came back saying that my IQ was 55. I may have had that IQ at that age and maybe it has increased since than I am not sure. The text could have also been inaccurate as it was a test that required alot of talking.

I don't think I have an intellectual disability at this point of time though because I managed to keep up with my peers in a mainstream class in a mainstream school. There are two possibilities I could have been wrongly diagnosed or had an intellectual disability at that point in time but not have it anymore. I am not sure.

Assignment 2 Re-boxing Reprinted

Our second assignment is meant to test my ability to evaluate and recreate the package digitally.

I was able to scan my previously made tracing paper blueprints to outline the packages shape. I spent quite an amount of time recreating the shapes of the tabs accurately. I often had to double check and type in my measurements to make sure that they were to the measurements I found with the blueprint.

I used the MicroType measurement sheet to determine the exact font size and spacing of the boxes of text. I was able to bring the transparent sheet right up to the box at match the x height to the characters.

I was able to match the font sizes and spacing on the digital file. Along with providing a dye-cut, score-lines, and registration marks.

After making a test file, I printed the result using the school printers to see how the formatting looked in physical form. I was able to practice my scoring and cutting on the box this way as well.

I made early contact with VI Print services to have my situation explained and my prints prepared. I sent them my earlier testing file formatted to their specifications to which they were able to print on scrap paper.

With the knowledge of how the printer’s service worked, I recommended the same process to my colleagues. I found that making contact with the printers early made this process smoother, and I was able to incorporate their availability into my process. I found this was great for my sense of professionalism.

With the printing service confirmed, I aimed to make the package as close as possible to the original design.

After using the “WhatTheFont” app to identify the typeface of the package. I searched the internet for free alternatives that approximated the weight and serifs.

I also used the pantone swatches to find a close match to colour as possible. For the golden authenticity label, I did have to work from a digital photograph to create an approximate colour.

I had to rework my layer organization to keep everything organized. I need to work on having my layers at the start of the project rather than spending time organizing after the fact.

I stuck with a dye-cut line that was a slightly darker yellow instead of black so that any inaccurate cuts wouldn’t be as visible.

Eventually VI prints provided our class with our packages on 50lb gloss paper. I was able to bring the prints to class through an improvised portfolio case consisting of a flattened cardboard box and a large plastic recycling bag.

I was excited to start cutting the outline. I realized after starting on cutting the outline that I needed to score the material first for folding.

I found that the material unfortunately didn’t crease well even with scoring, leaving to occasionally subtle flaking of the colour that was printed atop of the paper.

I found the method with scoring was to work from the outside in; doing lighter strokes until the paper would buckle and begin to fold would prevent the seam from cracking. Eventually I could smoothen the entire crease flat.

Eventually I would have the entire box constructed upright with the indents within the bottom tabs fitting securely. I secured the the main seam with tape for easy reconstruction when transporting the finished package to the classroom.

However, BMI fails to tell if your overall weight is water, muscle, or fat. Therefore, you cannot consider it a diagnostic tool for body fat percentage.
